Check -in and check-out is fast. Front staff are friendly. Breakfast has eggs & sausage, waffles, fruits and so forth.. Beddings are clean. There are cookies, coffee & tea in the front entrance. Wi-fi is slow though... Restaurants & shopping malls are nearby.

We were only here for less than 12 hours, so my description is short but sweet! We were greeted at 11pm by a warm women and soft delicious cookies in the lobby. We were in the far end of the hotel, where I was told the internet doesn’t reach when I mentioned I can’t connect. I had to walk to the lobby to use it, which was a little annoying, but not the end of the world. I used the gym in the morning, which was fine. They have some cardio machines and weights. I could tell it’s rarely used since the disinfecting wipes were all dried up. I didn’t mind being alone in there though! I inquired about the pool, but was told it was still closed and she wasn’t sure when it would reopen. Breakfast had a decent variety of food, and there was an attendant there at all times refilling bread/etc…. They used disposable plates, cups and cutlery though, which is disappointing since it’s awful for the environment. There was cookies/tea/coffee/hot chocolate 24/7, which was nice though. The room itself was a nice size and clean. Same for the bathroom. We were only given 2 bath towels for 4 people, which I thought was odd, but since we left after breakfast and couldn’t use the pool, the kids didn’t need to bathe. Overall, the hotel was totally fine for the night. I’m not sure I’d want to spend one week there since the internet/pool thing would have become annoying though.

We (Son, DIL, 9 yo granddaughter and I) stayed for two days because the pipes in my house froze. We had two queen size beds, which were so soft on the sides, my leg slipped off and woke me up! Toilet paper holder was broken, there was NO ICE, and my granddaughter was CRUSHED to discover the pool was closed, because we had the presence of mind to take our suits during a very cold spell. Breakfast was better than expected. First morning was biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. There was also packaged sweet rolls, bagels, toast, and waffles. The next day was scrambled eggs and corned beef hash. Breakfast room was kept immaculately clean and our room was, as well. We were told the third floor was being renovated. The hotel needs it!

Honestly, this isn’t a bad hotel at all. Some of the reviews seem as if people were looking for reasons to leave nasty reviews. Not sure why anyone would expect a hotel to change breakfast hours, or give a bad review because of possible allergic reactions to detergents…but some of the reviews seemed a little unfair. I stayed one night and it was fine. There were some cons: we had to ring the bell several times to check in, but this actually turned into a PRO, because the front desk clerk was making fresh cookies and that’s why she wasn’t immediately available. The room itself was fine. Maybe a little older and could hear the expressway all night long, but the beds were comfortable, the television worked, the bathroom was clean and water was hot. The hotel offered breakfast, but we opted out because there were several guests and it looked crowded. The ice machine and pool are still out of order, which wasn’t a huge deal because a) the rooms have mini fridges and b) we weren’t planning to use the pool, HOWEVER…in reading other reviews it seems both have been out of order for almost a year. I would think management would remove the pool from their amenities and provide a bag of ice as a courtesy if guests request ice. Overall, if you’re looking for a decent, inexpensive no frills hotel then this is the perfect place to stop and get sleep.

This place was so gross that I left. There were holes in the wall, cracked ceiling, dirty carpet but the worst was I pulled back the cover and sheet and there's a roach crawling in my bed. I left immediately.
